Caswell Status & Resources Updates

In these uncertain times non-profits, government agencies, faith-based organizations, and other community-based organizations are still hard at work to anticipate and respond to community needs.

Some organizations have changed the way they provide services and many are adding additional services as needs arise. Please help keep resource listings up to date by updating your agency’s information on NC 2-1-1 and by completing THIS SURVEY which was designed by The Health Collaborative to ensure everyone has up-to-date information about the resources available in our community.

The Nonprofit Network is also trying to develop a better understanding of the challenges and opportunities COVID19 presents for our area nonprofit agencies. Even if you are not a member of the Nonprofit Network, please take a few minutes to share with them HERE what your agency is experiencing so they can better inform funders and other community partners of what needs are arising.

We all have many questions, and decisions to make, as we work with our families, organizations, and the community to adapt to CDC recommendations.

We anticipate significant impacts and disruptions in the weeks to come and know that it will be crucial to have open lines of communication as we all work to ensure that the needs of our families, organizations, and communities are met and have standing weekly Caswell Status Update via Zoom.

Listen to the March 26th Caswell Status Update HERE  and the March 30th update HERE. We appreciate your patience as we continue to work out the kinks of meeting virtually.

Caswell County Manager Bryan Miller and Caswell’s Public Health Director Jennifer Eastwood will continue to join the Monday update calls but beginning April 2, the Thursday updates will take on a more conversational tone. The Caswell Chapter of The Health Collaborative hopes the community will use these opportunities to connect with one another as we continue to adapt and create our “new normal.”
