Of course, websites are a critical part of any business or organization’s life, but at the Caswell County Partnership for Children, they truly use their website as a true communication tool. If you are one of the people served by CCPFC, you now have an easy to use ‘online toolkit’ so you can more easily find the resources needed. The forms, guidelines and schedules of events and trainings are all easily accessed there.

If you do not have young children, you may not be aware of the Caswell County Partnership for Children, but if you do, it is likely you interact with the group from time to time. As their mission states: CCPFC unites the community to provide families with resources and services to enable all children to reach their fullest potential. As the marketing project went from month to month, it became clear even to someone without young children, how important this group is for building a solid foundation for our children in the county.

If you are a parent or guardian there are many programs and opportunities for CCPFC to help your child develop early literacy skills. With the Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Raising a Reader and Reach out to Read programs, there is room for the adults in a child’s life to take an active role in their learning to read. Other resources for parents and guardians include preparing children for kindergarten and assistance with child care subsidies.

If you are an early childcare provider, then you would likely interact with the Caswell County Partnership for Children through programs that include trainings and professional development opportunities. CCPFC cares deeply about providing the best resources so educators are always updated on the education and literacy programs available.

Providing a way for the community to become involved is also outlined on the new website. The organization has for years, relied on the assistance of volunteers and partnerships with the community to make their work more effective. On any given day, you are likely to see on their Facebook page, images of the work they have been doing together with other groups. Visit the site to see how you might become involved too.

In our day to day lives it becomes easy to get so focused on what we are doing that we do not always realize the important work going on all around us that contributes to helping build a stronger community. The work done by The Caswell County Partnership for Children is work that is incredibly valuable and deserves a second look. With the uncertainty we all are experiencing with COVID-19 this year, it goes without saying that CCPFC is also experiencing challenges with funding and reaching their goals. To help continue the important work for the children, CCPFC is having a fundraising drive in the next month and invites you to be a part of the excitement by contributing and helping the children become stronger for a stronger Caswell.
